IEF - Our Peace, Our Future Animation
The Integrated Education Fund (IEF) supports the establishment of new integrated schools, the growth of existing integrated schools and those seeking to become integrated. The IEF approached Whitenoise to create a short animation to feature at an event they were holding in the Strand Cinema in East Belfast. I was tasked with storyboarding this project and animated it alongside Elsa Weskott and Chris McKernan at Whitenoise Studios.
One notable mention with this project is that it features the voice of the renowned actor Ciaran Hinds whom I had the pleasure of meeting at Whitenoise Studios when he came in for the recording. He very kindly talked with us and was very gracious and posed for a photo or two. The project launched and was very well received by the audience at Strand Cinema. Again, it was great to be involved in another project around the subject of Integrated Education, which I myself advocate for as a means of healing oiur people from the years of violence known as the Troubles.
